For my last in-depth piece I wanted to do something that I was uncomfortable with since through out the semester I've been putting myself out there. I decided to go with a painting. My friend wrote a play about race within the theatre community and POC's experiences with it. I wanted to convey a line that stuck with me. It said "Going natural has helped me a lot. It's connected me to my roots an showed me my black is beautiful. We ooze gold."
