Abstraction of the Form (In-Depth Project)

For my In-Depth project i wanted to create a repeat pattern with the flowers, leaf, and swirls since that was in the middle of each drawing of the chair. With gentleness in mind, I looked up what kind of flowers represented gentleness. This is how i came up with a light pink rose. I wanted to make all of the colors in the photo be as light as possible and not a lot of harsh colors. Everything in the photo are pictures that I took. The background is a clear sky, the light pink rose, the leaf, and the swirl is a design on a gate. With learning photoshop years ago I had to re-learn some things to put what I wanted together. I wanted to make a repeat pattern so when I put all the photos together and printed it, I cut it up into sections and put it back together just like how we learned in class. All of this turned into the final piece above.
